The Ontario government has given Hamilton Health Sciences the green light to proceed to the next step toward building a new West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
The main doors will be closed as of November 22 at 1:00 pm until Monday, November 25 to support infrastructure work in the main hallway.
HHS received funding approval to redevelop the operating rooms and endoscopy reprocessing area.
While we work towards a new hospital, this project will help us continue to provide a safe environment for everyone until the new hospital is ready.
The parking lot at WLMH is being resurfaced as part of the regular maintenance schedule.

Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) has a plan to rebuild its West Lincoln Memorial Hospital (WLMH) site with a firm commitment from the Ontario government to provide the necessary funding to do so quickly.
HHS will continue to communicate extensively about what is happening at WLMH as this work proceeds.
